DIDFA Terms of Service

Effective Date: October 26, 2026

DIDFA (“Dumb It Down For Anyone”) is operated by Angela S Johnson DBA DIDFA (“DIDFA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service govern your use of DIDFA at https://didfait.com. By creating an account or using DIDFA, you agree to these Terms.

1. What DIDFA Does

DIDFA uses artificial intelligence to help users understand documents through clear explanations, summaries, comparisons, questions, and document-related writing assistance. DIDFA provides information, not professional legal, medical, or financial advice. It does not replace a qualified professional. AI-generated results may contain errors or omissions. Users should review important information against the original document before making decisions.

2. Age Requirements

DIDFA is intended for users ages 13 and older. Individuals under 13 may not create an account or use DIDFA. Users ages 13 through 17 may use DIDFA. Purchases and subscriptions must be authorized by a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.

3. Accounts

A DIDFA account is required to use document features. Account registration requires your full name, email address, ZIP code, and password. You must provide accurate information and protect your login credentials. You are responsible for activity under your account. Contact admin@didfait.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Plans and Pricing

Free: $0; one upload per month; maximum five pages per upload; no comparisons.

Assist: $4.99/month or $49.90/year; 100 pages per month; maximum 15 pages per upload.

Clarity: $7.99/month or $79.90/year; 200 pages per month; maximum 25 pages per upload.

Elite: $12.99/month or $129.90/year; 400 pages per month; maximum 50 pages per upload.

Pay As You Go: $1.99 per purchased upload; maximum 50 pages.

Paid options support comparisons of up to four documents per analysis, subject to applicable page limits. Pay As You Go can be purchased without changing an existing subscription. Annual subscriptions provide the same monthly page allowances as monthly subscriptions and cost the equivalent of ten monthly payments. Unused monthly pages do not roll over. Prices exclude applicable taxes, which may be calculated at checkout.

5. Page Counting and Usage

PDFs are counted by physical pages. Images count as one page each. For Word documents, pasted text, and public article content, DIDFA counts one page per 300 words or portion thereof, rounded up separately for each document. For comparisons, the individual document counts are added together and must remain within the applicable plan’s per-upload page limit. DIDFA may reject files that exceed supported limits or cannot be processed.

6. Payments and Renewals

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Monthly subscriptions renew monthly, and annual subscriptions renew annually, unless canceled. By purchasing a recurring subscription, you authorize recurring charges according to the selected billing interval and checkout terms. A successful, verified payment is required before paid access is granted.

7. Changing or Canceling Plans

Upgrades take effect after successful payment of any applicable prorated charge. Pages already used during the current allowance period count toward the upgraded plan's allowance. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current paid subscription term. Canceling a monthly or annual subscription stops future renewals. Paid access continues through the end of the period already purchased. Cancellation does not automatically trigger a refund. Annual subscriptions are not automatically refunded for unused months when canceled early, except where required by applicable law or Paddle's binding requirements. DIDFA does not offer routine discretionary refunds. Refunds may be considered for DIDFA-caused failures or exceptional circumstances, with the business owner's involvement before a discretionary refund is issued through Paddle. Refunds required by applicable law or Paddle's binding requirements are honored. Customers may use available Account controls or Paddle’s customer support or portal for billing and cancellation assistance.

8. Pay As You Go

A Pay As You Go purchase provides one eligible analysis of up to 50 pages, including eligible document comparisons. The purchase does not increase a subscription's monthly page allowance or change the customer's subscription plan. An unused purchase remains available until used or otherwise invalidated under applicable refund or account rules. Once processing begins, leaving or abandoning the analysis may consume the purchase. DIDFA-caused processing failures are handled under the Refund & Cancellation Policy, without limiting applicable consumer rights.

9. Documents and Privacy

You must have the right to submit any document or content you provide. DIDFA does not currently offer permanent storage of completed reports in your account. You are responsible for copying or downloading results before leaving the document session. DIDFA uses automated safeguards intended to mask certain sensitive identifiers, but masking is not guaranteed to catch everything. Please review the Privacy Policy.

10. Acceptable Use

You may not use DIDFA to violate the law, infringe others' rights, interfere with the service, bypass usage or payment controls, or attempt unauthorized access to systems or information. DIDFA may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, security threats, or legal requirements.

11. Service Availability

DIDFA may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical failures, or interruptions involving third-party services. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or error-free AI results. Eligible DIDFA-caused failures are handled under our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

12. Account Deletion

You may request account deletion through available account controls or by contacting admin@didfait.com. An active subscription may need to be canceled and reach the end of its paid period before self-service deletion can be completed. Certain payment, transaction, security, or compliance records may be retained where required or permitted by law.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated where required by applicable law.
